Description

Made from PLA, this bust of Jupiter — the Roman counterpart of Zeus — is a reproduction of the colossal sculpture known as Jupiter of Versailles, held at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Originally discovered in 1525 near the Porta del Popolo in Rome, it was gifted to Louis XIV in 1623, who commissioned Jacques Drouilly to convert it into a herm pillar. Carved in marble during the 2nd century AD by an unknown artist, this commanding work embodies the divine authority and grandeur of the king of gods. Its size makes it easy to display, and precision 3‑D printing delivers crisp detailing and lasting quality.
