Description

Made from PLA, this bust of Guillaume Du Vair — a French magistrate, philosopher, and statesman — is based on a sculpture originally created for his tomb in the chapel of the Collège des Bernardins in Paris. The bust was inspired by a portrait attributed to Franz II Pourbus, whose replica is preserved in the painting department of the Louvre Museum. Du Vair was a notable Stoic thinker and a key figure in the French Wars of Religion. Its size makes it easy to display, and precision 3‑D printing delivers crisp detailing and lasting quality.
